Privacy Policy

How we protect your data and your family's information — EU, UK, and US.

Last updated: August 30, 2026

1. Data controller

KlaroBuild, a French company operating easyMommy, is the controller of personal data processed through the app and website.

This English policy applies if you use easyMommy from the United Kingdom or the United States, together with UK GDPR (UK) or applicable US state law, including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended (CCPA). EU and EEA users are also covered by the EU GDPR. A French version is available at easymommy.fr/privacy.

Contact: contact@easymommy.fr.

2. Data we collect

  • Account details: email, phone number if you sign up by SMS, and Apple or Google sign-in identifiers.
  • Household settings: country, unit preference (metric or imperial), member roles, and invitations.
  • Children you add: first name, birth date, optional photo, and feeding preferences.
  • Baby care you log: feeds, sleep, diapers, tasks, solid foods, growth measurements, first words, potty, medicine, and milestones (including optional photos and videos). Vaccination records only where that feature is available for your country (currently France).
  • Voice transcripts you submit to create tasks or baby events.
  • Sensitive wellbeing data: moods, journal entries, and EPDS screening answers, processed only with your explicit consent.
  • Technical data: app version, device type, operating system, diagnostics, and push token.
  • Subscription status via Apple and RevenueCat. Payment card details are handled by Apple and are not stored by easyMommy.

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • Provide the app, your household space, and sync for members you invite: performance of our contract.
  • Manage subscriptions and support requests: performance of our contract.
  • Send reminders and family invitations: your consent.
  • Process wellbeing data and, if you enable Safety Net, notify your chosen trusted person: your explicit consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
  • Diagnose failures and improve reliability: our legitimate interests.
  • Meet accounting and legal duties: compliance with legal obligations.

4. We do not sell your data

We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use your or your child's health or care data for advertising.

5. Service providers

We use these providers only as needed to run the service:

  • Supabase: database, authentication, file storage, and server functions.
  • Anthropic: AI extraction and assistant responses using minimized data, not used to train their models.
  • RevenueCat and Apple App Store: subscription management.
  • Sentry: minimized technical diagnostics and crash reporting.
  • PostHog (hosted in the European Union): product usage measurement limited to technical events, such as a screen being opened or an action being performed. It never receives the content you enter or your health data.
  • Expo Push: delivery of notifications you have authorized.

Some providers process data outside the United Kingdom and the EEA under contracts and, where required, standard contractual clauses.

6. Retention and deletion

  • Active account data is kept while you use easyMommy.
  • When account deletion is confirmed in the app, active records and stored files are deleted immediately.
  • Technical backups, if any, may retain isolated residual copies until their normal rotation and are not restored to production.
  • Technical logs are retained for no more than 12 months.
  • Records subject to a legal accounting duty may be kept for 10 years.

7. Family spaces and sensitive data

Family-space data is visible only to authorized household members according to their role. Your moods, journal, and EPDS answers remain private to you.

If you enable the Safety Net, only a discreet signal is sent to the trusted person you selected. Scores, answers, and health details are never included in that signal.

8. Your rights (UK and EU)

Under UK GDPR and EU GDPR, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Use the in-app account deletion control or email contact@easymommy.fr. We may verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

UK: you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). EU / France: you may complain to the CNIL (cnil.fr) or your local supervisory authority.

9. California and US (CCPA)

In the last 12 months we may have collected: identifiers (email, account id); customer records; internet or app activity (diagnostics and coarse product events); country you set in the app (not precise GPS); voice transcripts you send; photos you upload; health or care data you enter about you or your child; and in-app inferences used only to provide features you use (for example rhythm cues), not for ads.

Sources: you, household members you invite, Apple or Google sign-in, Apple and RevenueCat for subscription status, and the device operating system.

We use this to provide the service, security, support, and analytics described above. We do not sell and do not share personal information as those terms are defined in the CCPA. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information to infer characteristics for advertising.

You may request to know or access, correct, or delete your information, and you will not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To opt out of sale or share: there is nothing to opt out of; we do not sell or share. Email contact@easymommy.fr with the subject “California privacy request”. An authorized agent may write on your behalf with proof of authority. We respond within the legal time limits.

10. Cookies and trackers

The easyMommy mobile app does not use cookies. The website uses only technical cookies strictly necessary for it to function. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are placed without your explicit consent.

11. Security

We apply access controls, row-level database security, encrypted transport, restricted administrative credentials, and data minimization. No system is risk-free; please protect your device and login credentials and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.

12. Children and eligibility

easyMommy is intended for adults managing family life. Adults provide information about children under their responsibility. The service is not offered directly to children. We do not knowingly collect data directly from children, including under 13 in the United States (COPPA). If you believe we have, email us and we will delete it.

13. Not medical advice

easyMommy is a parenting tool, not a healthcare provider. We are not a “covered entity” under HIPAA. The app does not diagnose and does not replace a clinician.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect legal, product, or provider changes. Material changes will be communicated in the app or by another appropriate method before they take effect.
